Just One More Turn

I’m a big gaming and science nerd, writing at the intersection of video games and science. Games have their use beyond entertainment, and I am passionate about bringing that world closer to you. I can cut through the technical jargon in scientific articles using the Simplify Science™ ability I gained during my PhD studies. I also picked up Communicate Clearly™ and Think Critically™ skills throughout my career, which will help me tell you about some of the innovative ways scientists are thinking about using games in research and healthcare. I’ve acquired the Play—>Think—>Learn™ skill through my life-long gaming passion, thinking about the ways video games can be used beyond entertainment. My main interest is in turn-based strategy and tactics games, but I’ve played in many other genres, especially as game genre boundaries start to blur.
